2: How is the procedure performed?
After topical numbing cream is applied for 30 min, it is then cleaned and the laser is performed in two passes. In the first pass, deeper acne scars are targeted with high energy. In the 2nd pass, moderate energy is used to treat the full face.
3: How do you feel post-procedure?
Redness and mild swelling may persist for 24 hrs. This is followed by a tiny dot-like crust that becomes darker over a few days and then falls off.
4: How many sessions are required?
4-8 sessions spaced approx. One month apart is required for desired results.
5: What post-procedure care is required?
Regular use of sunscreen for the next 7-10 days. Application of post-procedure cream 7-10 days as advised to you by your doctor. Avoid scratching and removal of crusts which may increase healing time.
